Strategic central location, unique Indian restaurant experience, characterful room features
The lack of air conditioning. Maintenance seemed slow to address issues, and confusing hallways-along with dodgy water pressure-greatly hindered my overall experience!!!

Appreciated to be here, the hotel was clean and fabulous, the location was great and perfect near to centre. Had good sleep at the double room with bath, nice view, as for instance. The polite staff was willing to help, that's a big plus. The service was excellent during my stay.

Convenient central location for exploring the area. Spacious, clean room.
Access to the room involves navigating confusing hallways with poor lighting. Unbearable heat, even with a fan running.

The location was peaceful and incredible, over a Tandoori restaurant, convenient to go everywhere. The staff of the hotel was willing to help.

The staff were professional and friendly and the quality of the food in the restaurant was good.
Some of the bedroom decoration was 'jaded' and the shower was either scalding or cold - nothing inbetween. While the restaurant food was excellent, the service, although pleasant, was incredibly slow with both starters and main courses taking well over half an hour each to arrive.

The staff were super pleasant. And the location was perfect for easy access to shops and the river. My room was clean with a comfy bed. Continental breakfast was decent, but could have had more options.

Location - it couldn't be more central, and the room was surprisingly good quality for a budget hotel.
Overflow car park is grubby and unpaved.

The location was perfect for exploring the area. We visited the Museum of Reading and enjoyed the nearby Indian restaurant. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast had a wide selection. Great spot for those attending the Reading Festival or heading to LEGOLAND.
One downside was the heat in the room. It was quite uncomfortable .

The location was perfect and the car parking although not on site and I did have to pay but it was good value. It was good value and a nice room
The room was very warm due to its location and would have benefited from air conditionibng or a large room fan. The windows did not open due to the road location.
